Research Thrust Area

The Institute has following measures to promote research in the Institute.

• Agricultural Economics – study agriculture from a business context which involves where products are being consumed, developed, financed, grown, marketed, processed, regulated, researched, taxed and transported.
• Rural Entrepreneurship - the creation of a new organization that introduces a new product, serves or creates a new market or utilizes a new technology in a rural area.
• Empowerment of Farmers - the acts of engaging, involving, and lifting up the voice of families throughout all areas in child welfare. This is the process of encouraging families to take an active role in participating with a child welfare agency.
